Black Perch

Barracuda!!
| Baracuda were caught out off the mile reef using blue and silver swim baits casting on boiling bait and bird action. Barracuda can be caught on almost any shiny lure (megabaits, castmasters, crocodiles) – the key is looking for the bird action. |

Improved weather pages
We’ve improved the weather page somewhat — well – it’s not one page anymore. Now under the Weather menu item you’ll see there are separate items for Monterey Bay marine weather, the tide forecast in both graphic and tabular form, and a new page for sea temperature and chlorophyll charts that are updated as often as hourly from the NOAA data feeds. We’ll probably be adding one or two others in the next few days. Anyway:
