Sherriff Larry says: Fishing in Capitola is excellent. There were several limits of rock cod and many lingcod to 14 pounds. There are several small bait balls in the area and it appeared that the fish are on the bite. The most productive areas have been on the outside of our local kelp beds. Right now you can do no wrong fishing the edges of the kelp.
Kurtis got limits of lingcod near Natural Bridges, while Ed landed a nice ling out in front of the Capitola wharf.
