Capitola: Jeeze what happened to the 4th of July…
Well, folks, it got quiet. Today we saw the swell build back up some – a lot actually – and we only had 3 boats out, so not much going on. One boat came back in with a brown rock cod and the kids had a good time catching anchovies.
A private boat fishing the edge of the western kelp bed picked up three small white sea bass. The big ghosts are still out further.
It’ll be my turn to look tomorrow, and I’ll let you know.
