Capitola: Great day for fishing and the scenery was nice too
So – first – sorry – no more fish pictures – we were busy again.
Lots of rock cod came in off the rentals today, a few nice halibut, and a few white sea bass. The irony / heartbreaker of the day was Ken, who thought he was doing the right thing by releasing a salmon. Turns out he released a 40 pound white sea bass. DARN! I guess better safe than sorry, but still….. DARN! There’s still bait in through the marina, not as thick but still a pretty healthy amount. What swell there was has gone down again, so – fishing’s probably going to remain good. |
