Capitola: Ed is on a roll

Ed and Halibut
Ed went back out after his earlier victory and hooked this 30 incher. He was using live anchovies at the mile buoy.

I notice Ed Caught a 30 incher at the mile bouy. That is not possible, Sheriff Larry says there are no fish at the mile bouy.Where did you really catch it at? Or is it possible Sheriff Larry is wrong? I ,Myself, prefer the Monterey style of fishing
but I do believe Capitola is finally cathcing on to it.

Also, when you post pictures on your site with fish caught,Are there any steps taken to verify who caught it? Just a tip from an Honest fisherman.

    Thanks

It is profoundly rare, but sheriff Larry has been known, at times, to exaggerate.

Ed was out fishing in his boat (“Monger”) today alone as Monday and Tuesday are his days off and he usually likes to spend the time fishing. As far as who caught it – well – we take Ed’s word for it; he’s about as honest as they come.

None of us here have heard of the “Monterey style of fishing” – if it means “catching” – the guys definitely were tuned into that today.
