Kenny and Dewey and friends struck gold today off Soquel point - four lings, four limits of rock cod, and 150 pounds (!) of jack smelt. They got the lings on jack smelt, the rock cod and jack smelt on bait jigs with frozen squid. Rock on.The red tide around the wharf looks like it might be dissipating - hard to tell for sure but there are definitely lots of non-red areas developing. |
