Santa Cruz: Hey you guys!! LOOK!
Larry had a halibut on and about halfway up when he decided to tell everyone “Hey look at me! Look – I’m reeling this big’n up here!!!” – which – of course – at that point the fish decided differently and spit the hook out. He was bummed. Not the fish, Larry. Anyway, he was fishing up around Davenport. Other than this, no one else we know got a halibut bite today. Kurtis however came in with two legal lings from the same area. Everyone was fishing live sardines, which Bocci still has last we heard.
The wind came up quickly today (as it did yesterday), so they didn’t have long to fish before they headed back in.
