Capitola: Bait bait bait!

Ed is out fishing by the cement ship right now, and he reports that he’s been into all kinds of herring, sardines, and mackerel while flylining a bait jig.

The bait out 1/4 mile from the cement ship is outragous!!!! someone needs to get a troll rig down in the sand level for buts and one midway for seabass. There are fish off the ship out of casting range and they do not appear to be small. One but today a 21incher thats it from the pier itself!!! wierd!!! Despite all the bait and sightings no takers? Todays but went for a shrimp bait on a bait rig?? typical tourist fish on what I call A twinke. The buts are early males and it won’t be long before it goes off for Capitola pier. Maybe the Seabass wil bust loose early like two years ago
