Capitola: It is a Sixth Sense thing with these

Darrell caught this grass cod out at the end of the wharf using an anchovy on a surf rig. What Darrell tapped into here is the little colony of rock fish that live under the wharf. They aren’t out and about all the time – just when the mood strikes them. That’s why you don’t see a lot of them coming up off the wharf all the time. So Darrell’s enthusiasm is well justified. Congratulations Darrell – you found them!

We did just get a bunch of one day fishing licenses, so the panic post from earlier today isn’t such a big deal. If you get one somewhere else, fine, but we have them – don’t worry.

Also – we have some unreserved boats here – come early if you want to get in on one of those.
