Capitola: Wharf fishing is all good

| Megan got in on the wharf action today - here she is holding one of the several jacksmelt she caught. She also reeled in some perch, all of this between the beach and the gate on the east side. She was using a surf leader setup with some small number 8 hooks and bits of shrimp.
It was a good day for perch and kingfish off wharf today - pretty much anyone who was fishing the wharf was catching stuff. |
