Capitola: You are not going to like this

We have been swarn to secrecy. We cannot say who. Or where. Or when. Or pretty much anything other than the following: “Somewhere within the Capitola rental borders these two white seabass bit on live sardines!”. Sorry folks – we’ll get cut off from this meager bit of info if we say more :(

Ed today found skunks on his boat. He had one good takedown in which what remained of the live sardine looked a lot like what a ghost does but that was it for the whole day. Ah – so by the process of elimination you know that these fish are *not* Ed’s. A clue!

Bait was much more scarce today – the seiners have been working overtime and time has been passing, so right now we have mackerel off the wharf and outside the marina, and small balls of sardines in front of the harbor.
