Capitola: It is the stenographers fault

* WPG2 CANNOT LOCATE GALLERY2 ITEM ID 86244 * This is one of two flatties that Previn caught today. He was fishing the edge of the kelp by privates using live sardines. He had 2/5ths of the halibut that came in today. Larry Leo caught two on swim baits in the shallows off Capitola reef, and the fifth one was from the same area in a rental. Congratulations Previn!

It was a slow day for rock cod – the boats we were able to pay attention to had a few rock cod, jacksmelt, sardines, and mackerel.

Ok – we fess up: we were slammed again this afternoon – every boat came in at the same time, so our attention to detail is just lousy today. We need to get the stenographer to help with the darn hoist so this doesn’t happen. We’ll try tomorrow.

Weather wise – a bit different. The westerly wrap-around started earlier, and now we have kind of a howling easterly – the normal daily one – except it’s pretty chilly. The easterly always lays down by midnight though, and usually quite a bit before that, so no big deal.
