So – the swell has died down a bit and most of the bait is just outside the marina. As we suspected the flatties have started moving back in. Nath and Jamie happened to stay near shore because of the dense fog we had all morning, and happily that was the recipe for success today!

Otherwise not much going on on the wharf. There were some sardines around in the early afternoon but they moved back out toward the end of the marina again later in the day. Ed jigged up a few and brought them in, but all we saw were one bat ray and one skate. Not worth writing home about.

If the swell stays down, this flatty phenomena may well continue for a few days. But please do not mistake that sentence for a forecast!!! It’s an educated *guess*

Less of a guess is that it’s supposed to be pretty warm just about everywhere this weekend, so if you feel like cooling off and rolling the dice on some flatties, give us a call and reserve a boat!
