Capitola: Someone left the air conditioner on over here
* WPG2 CANNOT LOCATE GALLERY2 ITEM ID 95233 * | Once again Jerod is our highliner with a very nice catch from his kayak. He brought in two grass cod, one very large black rock cod, and a legal halibut. He caught these off Bomborra reef – we did’t get what he was using.
This was the only thing worth taking a picture of today – most people came in with jacksmelt and sardines. One rental boat caught a bunch of small rock cod and one decent grass cod, and another caught and released a bat ray, All the catching seemed to be occurring in the same area that Jarod was fishing. Off the wharf – no halibut or stripers, though in the morning there was quite a bit of excitement with a bunch of jacksmelt and sardines and some larger pacific mackerel near the gate in the early afternoon. Not a stellar day, but nice none the less. The weather was mostly cool and foggy – tomorrow is supposed to be a warmer day. |
