Capitola: Do what I say, not what I do – Ed

* WPG2 CANNOT LOCATE GALLERY2 ITEM ID 95424 * John and Zeland stuck to their guns over by the kelp bed to the east of the wharf and landed this nice 29 inch flattie using live sardines on a halibut rig. We have not heard of any success from any of the rentals yet aside from one that was targeting sardindes in the marina (it did *very* well). Ed did point people to the same area that John and Zeland were fishing, but they didn’t stay long enough it seems. Darn. Patience is a virtue! Ed is of the opinion that his own skunk is a symptom of the same sort of impatience. Bad Ed!

As you can see, weather on this side of the hill could not be more different from what it is in the valley. We’ve had a marine layer all morning so far, and temps have been in the 60′s. We hear it’s quite a cooker over there. Tell you what – we’ll split the diff with you :)
