Capitola: Sure hope these things move closer to shore soon

Doug and salmon
Here’s another one of the more fortunate salmon anglers from today. Doug here caught these two on a PHHBARF early – he was fishing near Larry and Terry.

We don’t have any shots of fish caught near shore today. We only had three rentals out plus one private. We saw a few small-ish browns and a copper and a black come in – nothing worth taking a picture. We continue to see pinheads around. They were, again, in and around the marina, and again we saw the occasional sardine.

Off the wharf we saw respectable number of shiners coming up off the end on bait jigs with shrimp. Not a really super productive day, but Ed sure got a lot done around the shop.

We look forward to a fishier tomorrow – see you then.
