Capitola: Kurtis loses one tail, gains four
Kurtis had some luck today after he managed to shake the radar echo that had been dogging him all morning, at which point things turned around. Josh and Kurtis here landed these four flylining live sardines near the beach towards the ship. The largest is around 16 pounds – beautiful fish you guys! |

Capitola: Stenography has its perks
Three years of ghost writing fishing reports finally had some effect on the stenographer. He landed this 11 pound ling early this afternoon just outside the Capitola reef using a dead anchovy on a halibut rig. Nice catch, Me! |

Capitola: Busy night
No pics, but after our last post yesterday five additional stripers were brought in.
Today so far there was quite a bit of bait near shore, but a small swell has started up and they have scattered a bit.
