Capitola: All is not lost!

Doug caught this 12 pounder just now down in the breakwater on the west side of the wharf. He was using a small shiner perch on a sliding sinker rig (on a rental rod, we might add :) ).

Perch are abundant, though sardines remain elusive off the wharf. Word is that sardines can be jigged up off New Brighton beach right now.
