Capitola: At least seiner nets do not get into the rocks

Damien and lingcod
Damien caught this 14 pound lingcod using a live sardine off the old Sponge Bob area. We had 5 boats out fishing today, and all had at least a few fish. Most had a few browns, and there were a few undersized lings. The new orange buoy was producing the most fish (the browns).

Bait was much harder still to find today, but we did see it come into the first row of the marina for a brief period of time. Ed spent about 2 1/2 hours jigging and managed to get 24 pieces.
