Capitola: Too bad his name is not Herman

Monkster and two flatties
Phil tried for salmon early this morning with no success. He came back to Capitola, jigged up 15 sardines, took them over to 60 feet of water outside the harbor, and proceeded to harvest these two: 15 and 16 pounders! The bait jigging occurred at about 9:00am and the harvesting began at about 9:30am – so obviously bait was pretty easy to come by again this morning. Phil is happy to be back in the swing, and justifiably so. Happy dining Phil!
