Capitola: Those Best Buy Warrantees Have Questionable Value

Ed took the camera in for what he thought would be a  no questions asked return of his relatively new and malfunctioning camera, only to be confronted with “No problem sir, we’ll just send that in for repair – it’ll just be one and a half to three weeks!”.

So we have no still camera, but we do have backup in the form of a video camera.  So the visual part of today’s post is here:

In short – it was a pretty good day!  Nearly every boat caught fish – in fact we actually didn’t notice any boats without.  Everyone seemed to have at least a hand full of nice rock fish.  One boat came in with a small flattie, though it’s hard to call them the highliner as so many boats came in with rock cod limits.

Aside from all that, we haven’t seen any bait on the wharf today nor anything really remarkable save for a pesky harbor seal that’s been swimming  around with a bobber hooked to its lip (it will rust out in a day or two – don’t worry).

And we were kinda slammed, so we didn’t get to take the pulse of the bait situation outside the harbor, but from what we saw fish were biting on just about everything anyhow so it’s not that important.

Oh – and Larry’s fish came from somewhere up the coast a ways – we are not sure where.
