Capitola: Well actually…

We do have a bait report.В  This is entirely a function of the fact that the stenographer’s home floats at the edge of the marina and thus that he literally drives by the bait several times a day.В  Today being no exception:

Early this morning – about 5:30 or so – sardines where extremely abundant just at the edge of the marina.В  As in “it sounds like it’s raining” abundant.В  By about 8:30 it had moved out about 1/4 mile but was still plentiful.

Right now birds are again working the edge of the marina.В  Added bonus: it appears that the sooty shearwaters have arrived; a big flock of them did a fly by about 45 mins ago.
