Peter landed the only seven gill shark I have seen brought in here. he was fishing in side the number 3 bouy 65 of water using squid on a halibut rig this was a taged fish.

    Decent eating if dealt with properly. They don’t freeze at all, so you need to eat the whole fish within a few days. Good fish for sharing. Many party boats in San Fran catch these in deep water around the golden gate and save a few to cut up for steaks for everyone when the fishing is slow.
