Pick your fish month with cod off the local reefs a darn near sure thing. The lane from the cement ship to the Capitola wharf has everything from halibut, ling cod,and assorted cods to the more exotic thresher sharks and (white Sea bass). The key here is to bait up for what your after pot luck fish with squid.
There are serious opportunities to get in some freezer filler trips particularly if you connect with a seabass some going in the 40 plus lb range.
Squid blooms should offer opportunities for a fish of a lifetime particularly for those who have never experienced a white seabass smoke their reel or there BBQ afterwords, One of the best eating fish anywhere.
Nice afternoon weather as well
awesome to see so many nice salmon on the inside, some right off sponge bob. This is how it should be!!! Let the bait come in and the fish will follow.
Frank has to be a happy camper seeing this bite!!!!!!!!
