Joe nailed the halibut inside the SC 3 buoy on a live mackerel. And the ling on live sardine in the mile reef. He said he had a lot of action off Adams reef small lings and the one vermilion. |

Halibut are still around and willing to bite during low swell days. There are still squid clusters, bait fish to jig up and not so big as to attract commercials but large enough to definitely interest the sea bass.
ADAMS reef a solid bet to at least pick up nice rock fish,keeper lings and halibut as shown here.
New film of Men and M<mavericks being filmed in Santa Cruz about the life of J Moriarty the legendary Surfer and not known to most quite the fishermen as well.
October 13th and the weather is really hot, Santa Cruz Indian summer days are awesome. Great weather, fishing still good
