A good day for most of the few boats that went out today. It was chilly first thing this morning and got real nice for the rest of the day, it’s Sposato to stay the same for the next few days. I only have one reservation for tomorrow, so come and get out on the water.

Another slow day for the few boats that want out today. Kim and Joe did best, with this two cod, one legal ling two short lings, and a 15.5 pound halibut caught on a live king fish just before calling it a day. Weather dose not look good for renting boats tomorrow, but I will come and open the shop till noon if it’s not pouring. Happy Thanks Giving.

Capitola: Pete falls on his butt,

I caught two sea bass today one 30 pounds the other 46 way up the coast. I neted a nice scoup of squid. The wind came up early so I worked my way back, and ran in to Pete. I gave him some fresh squid, drop one down myself and hook up a good size Vermilion. Pete droped one and caught a ling. I sent another one and baged a 7 pound halibut. Pete sent one down for a 14 pound halibut. What a day!

Miguel was our highliner today. He caught this Halibut and 7 short Ling Cod out off of Boomer’s Reef. Out on another rental boat, Matthew caught 6 Rock Cod in the same area. Ed spent most of his day chasing birds. He did catch one Barracuda in 145 ft of water off the Lighthouse. He came back in and fished Adams at the end of the day and caught three Rock Cod and one nice Vermillion…then he daw the birds working and started his chase again. But nothing came from that pursuit.
