Rental Boundaries

This map shows the boat rental boundaries for our two locations. The Santa Cruz area spans from Natural Bridges State Park to Pleasure Point and is closer to open ocean. The Capitola location, which extends from Pleasure Point to the Seacliff Beach pier and the cement ship, is somewhat more sheltered from ocean breezes and so tends to be less rough throughout the day.

Note that Capitola’s western boundary intersects with Santa Cruz’s. We’ve extended Capitola’s range so people who want a longer fishing day can have one. This extension should only be used by experienced anglers – basically you need to understand that you can’t just bee line back to Capitola (that’d put you on ground). If you want to fish there, mention it to Ed before you go – he’ll let you know if it’s safe to go today.
