Our
Davis Weather Monitor II instrumentation includes wind, temperature, pressure, humidity, and rain sensors, all of which are located on the roof of the Capitola bait shop. We’ve tried to locate the instruments so as to be isolated from bias by local structures etc. and to date they’ve appeared to be an accurate reflection of local conditions. However we offer no guarantees as to the quality of this data as we are lowly amateurs.
That said, here’s more data about weather at the end of the Capitola wharf than you ever thought even could possibly exist. Some people swear by this for fishing - if you’re one of those, have at it.
